Flavour
A bright and aromatic cup with notes of dried apricot and bergamot, followed by candied lemon peel, fresh apricot and a touch of clementine. Light-bodied and complex, with a dry, tea-like finish reminiscent of Assam tea.

Origin
Produced by the
Hunkute Cooperative, made up of 2149 smallholder farmers, at Hunkute Site 2 in Dalle, Sidamo, Ethiopia, at an impressive 2150 m above sea level.

Varieties
A selection of
traditional Ethiopian heirloom varieties and JARC cultivars, including 74110 and 74112, known for their distinctive floral, citrus and fruit-forward character.

Process
Washed – cherries are carefully processed at Hunkute Site 2 before the beans are washed and dried, creating a clean, transparent cup that highlights the delicate aromatics and bright acidity.

Why we love it
One of those coffees that perfectly captures what makes
Ethiopian washed coffees so captivating. Its delicate body carries an impressive amount of flavour, moving from dried apricot and bergamot to candied citrus and clementine before finishing with a beautifully dry, tea-like character. A wonderfully complex yet elegant cup that has been a Drop Coffee favourite for years.
